The Interactive Map – Another Way In Which It Will Help

Screw Business As Usual by Richard Branson

Many amazing things have been happening during the Richard Branson and Virgin Unite Challenge, to “Screw Business As Usual”.  I would like to take just a few minutes to share one of them here.

A supporter of our aims forwarded me a link to a YouTube video with a comment that the Interactive Map could be used to help to spread amazing ideas like they were sharing with me. (Sadly I have lost the message to say a public Thank you)

Just 2 minutes and 14 seconds later (after watching the video) it hit me that I had possibly been underestimating the power of the Interactive Map! Here’s the video ~

Who would have thought that a plastic soda bottle could provide such a basic necessity as light. Now think of the  number of communities around the world that could and would benefit from such a simple idea – yet may not have heard of it.

This is where the Interactive Global Community Map could step in and step up. By having a section that shares ideas such as this, ways to provide solutions to issues that affect those most in need. Imagine if the Map already existed – how many more people do you think would have benefited from light already?

I am going to leave you with that thought – as I know I have the tendency to ‘waffle’.
